A NEW BUILD WITH

OLD WORLD CHARM

We absolutely love how this truly timeless kitchen turned out. The walls were carefully covered in handcrafted Zellige from Clè tile. Each piece with subtle variations from the firing process, giving us the old world charm we needed. The Currey and Company bell pendants cast the warmest glow onto the island. Kelly Wearstler Utopia wall sconces replace what should have been upper cabinetry. These fixtures cast uplight and downlight, replacing the dated look of “under cabinet lighting,” and structurally aid in framing the beautiful range hood. Our clients “must have” for this kitchen? The 47” triple basin Signature hardware sink with double faucets. It does not disappoint!

A GRAND

ENTRANCE

Our foyer at Chǎteau Gaston looks far different than it did the day we walked in the door.

We knew it needed something “big” to draw the eye up to the 25’ cathedral ceiling.

“An antique door find from Richmond, VA was our kickoff point, the project took off from there!”

The massive 96” French doors with elongated 18” Dutch bolts and unlacquered brass pulls make this wall a huge statement when you walk in the door.

EDWARDIAN ELEGANCE

Romantic and antique meets modern in this stylish family room makeover. Our client felt stuck in a farmhouse aesthetic. After completing her dining room we turned our attention to the family room. One of our favorite moments of this project was finding the antique Giltwood Rococo pier mirror our client wanted.

It truly completed the space and brought everything else together.

NATURE’S

ROMANCE

This dining room has been one of our favorite completed spaces. From the custom pinch pleat cafe curtains, to the wallpaper ceiling, to the stunning Chapman and Myers chandelier. It captured the client and her family along with their adorable pet bunnies. Before shot seen below.

CHÂTEAU

GASTON:

BOOKCASES

Bookcases at our family’s personal residence lovingly named Château Gaston.

Showcasing family heirlooms, hand developed photography, artifacts and historical remnants to name a few. These one of a kind hand painted vessels are the heart and soul of our family room space.

One of our favorite features? The vintage Ralph Lauren Sterling silver hammered portfolio lights. The patina developing on the fixtures brings even more of the château aesthetic into play.
