Studio Gaston was founded in the spring of 2024 by wife and mother of four, Brit Scheren. Built in the heart of Hertford, NC. The Studio began as a way to help others while giving them access to more eclectic, unique materials. “I wanted to bridge the gap between what is already offered in my area and what is not.”

She inherited her artistic eye and intrigue for design from her mother. Her love of buildings and architecture from her father.

She has dedicated most of her adult life to creating beautiful spaces. Owing her more resourceful approaches to design to her years living on an island in Alaska. “We were isolated from normal supply chains, so everything had to be found.. Our island brought together this melting pot of cultures.” Exposed to a wide range of styles she learned quickly what could and couldn’t be brought together.”

Our Studio and practice of design is dedicated to offering services to the people, storefront owners, and contractors whose clients need a sense of direction within our local communities.
